ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste is carbon filler-based, with a silicone gel ensuring optimal distribution by filling cavities between the CPU or chips. Due to its new composition, MX-6 thermal paste is widely applicable for CPUs, GPUs, graphics cards, consoles, and laptops. It is electrically non-conductive, anti-corrosive, and features extremely high viscosity, which prevents leakage. For these reasons, using ARCTIC MX-6 near sensitive circuits is much safer and easier than using metal-based thermal pastes.
Features:
The thermal paste is completely safe to use with high-performance modern microprocessors and graphics processors. Its high viscosity makes it suitable for direct cooling scenarios, which occur, for example, when using graphics cards or console GPU processors.
Accidental contact with electrical plugs, traces, or wires will not cause short circuits or static shock, unlike metal-based pastes. The thermal insulation paste contains no liquid metal components that could damage the heatsink through friction, corrosion, or fading.
Under normal circumstances, carbon has the highest thermal conductivity of all known materials. ARCTIC MX-6 carbon particles effectively and efficiently fill microscopic pores and gaps between contact surfaces for optimal heat transfer. High thermal conductivity and low thermal resistance help heat dissipate quickly and efficiently.
Excellent non-drying and non-sagging properties ensure consistent long-term performance. The paste remains effective for up to 8 years.
