Features:
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastic materials for 3D printing. As a 3D printing material, it is ideal: it is mechanically strong, resistant to impact, heat, resistant to alkaline and acid solutions, alcohols, but easily amenable to both mechanical and chemical processing.
ABS plastic can be further processed: sanded, smoothed, or glued with acetone. Processing with acetone vapors essentially helps to form a monolithic structure.
This plastic is flexible enough to bend under pressure rather than crack.
ABS's resistance to heat and impact allows it to be used in many industries. Suitable for objects used in adverse conditions, high temperatures, and for highly vulnerable parts.
Due to its resistance, it is ideally suited for car accessories and phone cases.
It emits a noticeable odor during printing, so room ventilation is required.
