The Liquid Freezer III is compatible with most common Intel and AMD sockets. It is adapted for the new Intel LGA1851 socket, so users do not have to worry that new processors will require new coolers. LGA1851/LGA1700 socket features: The ARCTIC mounting frame does not deform the processor, unlike Intel's ILM (Independent Loading Mechanism), by removing two-point pressure. Mechanical stress on the motherboard and CPU is reduced to a minimum, cooling performance remains constant, and installation is quick and easy.


The premium-class radiator is 38 mm thick with a high fin density. By increasing the cooling surface, heat dissipation is improved, and the liquid volume is also increased. Water has a much higher thermal capacity than aluminum or copper. Therefore, heat accumulation in the water cooling system slows down, and power and temperature peaks can be effectively managed for a longer time. Despite increased performance, operation remains quiet.


Motherboard voltage regulators often operate at maximum temperature when power-hungry processors are used. The Liquid Freezer III features an improved VRM fan. This 60mm PWM-controlled fan can almost inaudibly cool the socket area when VRM cooling is insufficient, especially in cases of increased CPU load (overclocking).


Two connection cables offer two control options: like Liquid Freezer II series coolers, the entire unit can be controlled via a single connection, meaning the pump, VRM, and fans can be easily managed with one PWM setting. Another option: using a splitter, the pump, VRM, and fans can be controlled independently. This allows, for example, the VRM fan speed to be controlled independently of the CPU and regulated analogously according to the temperature of the voltage converters using PWM.


The Liquid Freezer III is ready for immediate use, with fan cables integrated into the sleeving, so only one cable needs to be connected to the motherboard. Together with the included MX-6 thermal paste, you have everything you need for quick and easy installation.


The new ARCTIC A-RGB fans in this model allow for perfectly synchronized multi-color lighting effects. A-RGB lighting capabilities are more advanced than RGB, allowing for more light and color effects simultaneously to create a unique look for your system.
