ABS 3D Printer Filament, 1.75mm, 1kg Spool, Yellow
Features:
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastic materials for 3D printing. As a 3D printing material, it is ideal: it is mechanically strong, resistant to impact, heat, alkalis and acid solutions, and alcohols, yet it is easily amenable to both mechanical and chemical processing.
ABS plastic can be further processed: sanded, smoothed, or glued with acetone. Acetone vapor treatment essentially helps create a monolithic structure.
This plastic is sufficiently flexible, so it bends under pressure rather than cracking.
ABS’s resistance to heat and impact allows it to be used in many industries. It is suitable for objects used in harsh conditions, high temperatures, and for highly stressed parts.
Due to its durability, it is ideal for automotive accessories and phone cases.
During printing, it emits a noticeable odor, thus room ventilation is required.
ABS is an ideal material for most items: toys, jewelry, tools, office kits, phone cases, knife handles, and various household appliances.
