Features:
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a 3D printing plastic that, due to its properties, is suitable for manufacturing functional objects and items that come into contact with food (e.g., water bottles, containers, kitchen utensils).
It is characterized by high strength, flexibility, and impact resistance, making it ideal for manufacturing mechanical parts and precise dimension products.
TPU is recognized as safe for food use. Given its heat resistance, its products can be washed in a dishwasher (when an appropriate temperature is applied).
TPU is hydrophobic (does not absorb moisture) and insoluble.
When 3D printing, it is easier to use than ABS, but this plastic is more durable than PLA.
A heated platform is not necessary, but recommended. The material practically does not shrink during cooling.
TPU plastic is best suited for food safety projects (with proper certification), mechanical parts, and outdoor objects.
Also suitable for beginners due to its ease of use.
